Mr. Frierson, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
He subsequently earned the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and also the more unique credential of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Through LPL Financial, Mr. Frierson holds other securities registrations including the FINRA Series 7, 6, 24, 62 (Corporate), 63 (State), 52 (Municipal) and life insurance.
Mr. Frierson as a CFP® practitioner and CPA, has actively performed financial planning, public accounting and investment management for over 30 years. His experience includes practicing with a national accounting firm in the areas of tax, audit, and consulting.
He is a past director of the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA) and is a former president of the Houston CPA Society.
Mr. Frierson serves, or has served on numerous boards of charitable, civic, and professional organizations in the Texas community.
